Tradition. It can be boring, and most certainly predictable. This year I hosted friendsgiving and decided to sail away from the Thanksgiving tradition of turkey, stuffing and mashed potatoes. *Insert GASP.* With Friendsgiving's and Family Thanksgiving's that is WAY too much turkey for one to digest. This is why we chose to theme our friendsgiving as... *drumroll please* Around the World Friendsgiving.

Each of our pals were tasked to bring a dish inspired by a country of their choice. We had 17 people attend and the food was more than phenomenal... it was unforgettably effing fabulous. We chose this theme to get our friends thinking and cooking creatively in the kitchen. A challenge accepted by all and every dish showcased the theme. Luckily, all of my friends are skilled in the kitchen so we had no major miss haps with any dish.

What else was at the party?

What wasn't at the party is probably a better question.

Coconut Curry

Kim Bap

Shrimp & Tofu Pad Thai

Khaopoon

Bangers and Mash

Yogurt Soju

Vegan Mac and Cheese

Krumkake

Arroz con Leche

Vegan Apple Cashew cream Croissants

AND MUCH MUCH MORE!

If you and your pals love to eat and aren't afraid of trying new things, consider trying this theme! The food was so exciting, the conversations were great and my kitchen smelled fabulous all night!

Happy thankful days to you and your peeps!
